![]() ![]() IE: Adding new vids with confirmed codes to the OP, and removing them as they expire.Įven if a housekeeping sweep is done only once a week, it would be better than just leaving it the way it is. Not posting the codes themselves (bypassing need to watch the vids) is fine. (2) The thread is becoming SO big that even going through the followup posts looking for new codes/videos is becoming cumbersome. Yes, I know the OP says that codes MAY be expired based on a date range, but that is not the same thing. Its awesome that AvilerED took the time to compile the list, but if you are going to be the official unofficial thread handler, then you have to keep up with it or let someone else take it over. The correct video needs to be linked, and when it is confirmed expired, it needs to be removed from the list. I am NOT going to sift through every video on a channel to find a code that may or may not even still be valid. (1) Every single one of the links I clicked in the OP led to a channel, not to a video, with no indication as to WHICH video on that channel was the correct one to get the code. I also have no problem having a single thread that tracks all of them (its actually better that way). I personally dont have a problem with watching a video for a code (provided the vid is not ridiculously long). Otherwise, people can move backwards from the latest replies and find links to videos that way. It may not be updated on AvilerED's first post but subscribing to that thread will give you notifications so people can easily see new posts. ![]() So just follow how Playful wants the codes to be shared link to the video and don't just simply post the redeem code directly. As is also mentioned on that original post, links to the specific videos where codes are shown would still be on the replies on that thread. I'll also agree the first post on the original thread is too broad but AvilerED said as much on his post if people actually took the time to read it. You calling the reason for the mod action here as disingenuous comes off as being deliberately obtuse to me. Furthermore, Playful wants redeem codes spread in a specific way that makes it easier to manage if they're all on the original thread. You see it as useful information which makes it even better to have everything about that consolidated in one thread. We don't need more than one thread for that. There really is NO need for multiple threads on that same subject. There is already a major thread about Creativerse bundle codes. Moderators and Playful have gone back and forth with the changing tide of the community to TRY and please as many ideas and views as possible with something that never should have blown up as much as a simple kindness by a community member as the code directly thread has become. Playful commented a few times in that thread trying to get across their purpose for the codes to no avail. ![]() There were complaints about bundle content. There were fights among posters in the thread. My understanding is Playful never intented to have the Sponsored ( or unsponsored ones for that matter ) bundles offered to Streamers and video makers to both promote the game and the streamers to be so sought after by so many. AliverED went to a lot of effort to put that list together. ![]() The code directory was put together by a prominent Creativerse community member (AliverED) after a forums moderator (auntielyns I believe it was) made a comment about how nice it would be to have everything in one place for people. It's a little difficult to make -everyone- happy, especially in a growing community. ![]()
